Welcome to Spring’s Voice! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Sarah Brenton. I have a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education, a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, and am professionally certified in trauma-informed counseling. I started Spring’s Voice as a way to provide hope, encouragement, and counseling to children who have been adopted, adoptive parents, and teachers working with students in the adoption and foster care systems.

My background is primarily in education as a teacher and instructional coach. The counseling services I provide are not meant to replace sessions with a licensed therapist, but are meant to serve as a first step or an additional step in a child’s adoption process, the parent’s adjustment process, or teacher’s journey navigating challenging students and behavior. I don’t claim to be an expert, but rather an understanding and informed educator.
